- Prefer `fetchFromGitLab.tag` instead of `rev`.
- Explicitly add `qt6.qtserialport` as a needed library to preserve cross-compilation compatibility.
- Resolve `lrelease` through build environment's `PATH` to preserve cross-compilation compatibility.
- Patch OSCAR to find HTML and translation resources in the Nix store.
- Install resources under the expected `share/OSCAR20` directory.
- Install only the matching OSCAR20 desktop entry and icons.
- Use icon lookup instead of an invalid absolute `/usr/share` icon path.
- Set executable bit only to the binary and read-only permissions to resources.
- Add `meta.changelog`.
sawfish has a hard dependency on GTK 2, which is being removed from
Nixpkgs. there has been an issue about a GTK 3 port since 2022
(https://github.com/SawfishWM/sawfish/issues/51) with no response. it
appears to be effectively in maintenance mode upstream so this appears
unlikely to change.
ssh-askpass-fullscreen provides an askpass GUI using GTK 2, and does not
support any newer versions. It has received very few changes in many
years (https://github.com/atj/ssh-askpass-fullscreen/blob/master/ChangeLog),
and in an issue about migrating to GTK 3 or 4 upstream, the author said
that they did not use the application any longer and there has been no
activity on the issue since 2022. Thus, it seems unlikely that it will
migrate away in the forseeable future.
nufraw does not seem to be particularly maintained upstream (last
updated March 2020) and required the deprecated GTK2 engine. it can
*technically* be built without it, but that leaves a small cli tool that
does not seem to be the point of the application, so we just drop it
here. if the `nufraw-batch` cli tool is particularly useful, this can
be re-added back without support for the GTK UI.
These two backends were not working on linux prior to this update, and
so, support for them were disabled for the linux builds.
Now that they work properly, this patch remove the `isDarwin` gate so
both platforms have the necessary dependencies.
