• atomic package manager and build system
• declarative and reproduceable
• using lua and c/c++
• replacement for nix, dendritic pattern
• ideally interoperable with nix
• first class c library

What should a build file look like?

• filename: ark.lua or example.ark
• should consist of a single function which returns a table
